Certification
EN 71-3 Toy Safety
EN 71-3 is the European toy safety standard for migration of certain chemical elements (cadmium, lead, arsenic, barium, etc.). A coating that passes EN 71-3 is considered safe for surfaces children may contact, including chew.
Why it matters for Australian projects
Critical for early-learning, childcare, play-space and paediatric healthcare fit-outs where floor coatings are within reach of small children. EN 71-3 is the cleanest architect-facing answer to "is it safe for kids?"
