Use Bona Intense instead. Bona's own Classic and Classic UX datasheets both explicitly direct specifiers to substitute Bona Intense as the primer when the species is in the high-tannin category. Using Classic or Classic UX over Blackbutt, Tallowwood or similar high-tannin hardwoods risks tannin bleed-through, uneven colouration and delayed drying.
