daily-wet Damp clean with diluted sport cleaner

Products: supersport-cleaner

Dilution:

  • routine: 50 ml SuperSport Cleaner per 5 L cold water (1:100)
  • heavily_soiled: 100 ml per 5 L water (1:50)

Use as little liquid as possible on wood floors -- excess water causes swelling and permanent damage. Leaves no slippery residue. Low foaming -- safe for auto-scrubber or manual mop.

large-area-machine Clean large courts with Bona PowerScrubber or other auto-scrubber

Dilution:

  • routine: 100 ml per 10 L cold water
  • heavily_soiled: 200 ml per 10 L water
Machine specifications
  • brushes: white only -- aggressive brushes/pads scratch the surface
  • direction: run machine along, NEVER across, parquet boards
  • water_loss_limit: must not exceed 1 L per 100 m² -- test by adding 10 L, after 100 m² at least 9 L should remain in return tank
  • suction_strip: keep clean; replace annually or if excess water is left on floor

FIBA Bona Coating Maintenance Certificate of Approval (2026) -- approved cleaning and maintenance products for FIBA-certified courts must be from the Bona SuperSport range; non-approved products void the FIBA performance classification.

Contraindication summary

  • Never run machine across parquet boards -- always along
  • Never use aggressive brushes/pads -- white brushes only
