EMICODE EC1 Plus
EMICODE EC1 Plus is the highest tier of the GEV (Gemeinschaft Emissionskontrollierte Verlegewerkstoffe) product emissions labelling scheme, indicating very low VOC and aldehyde emissions from the cured coating film.
Why it matters for Australian projects
Australian Green Star and WELL v2 indoor-air credits accept EC1 Plus as evidence of low-emitting materials compliance, often without further testing. For NCC deemed-to-satisfy indoor air quality in schools, healthcare and childcare, EC1 Plus is the simplest architect-facing proof point.
